Ways to Give

Over the past 8 months we have had to think through what it means to be a church in the world. Where normally we have people coming and going, and regular services and activities it was quiet in our building. We missed the laughter, the voices, the fellowship and community. That being said even though we could not meet in person, we were still the church. So, we had to pivot, and although the building was closed we were still very much engaged in ministry through recorded services, phone calls, e-mails, a place for people to leave community prayers, volunteers offering to help wherever needed-whether it was groceries, errands, or filling other needs. One other challenge was how to support community programs like the Upper Room while they to had to change. While we could not be there in person we were able to continue to support them financially to make sure they could meet the needs of those around them. It has been a humbling reminder of what it means to be the church and how even when we cannot be together we are still very much active and engaged. If you would like to support the ministry of the Kirk there are several ways you are invited to give.

Donations can be mailed to: St James Presbyterian Church 35 Fitzroy St, Charlottetown, PE C1A 1R2

They can be dropped off to the church office Tuesday-Friday between 9 and 2

They can be left in the mailbox on the Fitzroy door

Or we can accept e-transfers at kirkstjames@pei.aibn.com

We want to say a huge thank you for the countless ways you do support the Kirk ministry not only through monetary donations, but also through your prayers, encouragement, and love. We are so thankful for this community and the ministry we are able to do. Blessings on you in the New Year,

Rev. Amanda
