The Kirk of St. James is so much more than a place of worship that draws the community together on Sunday mornings. It is the hub of a faith family held together by bonds of friendship and caring pastoral ties. It is a place that reaches out to the Charlottetown community and the world beyond, serving as the hands and feet of Christ. It is a home to missions to the food insecure, the housing insecure, the lonely and those who need a friendly helping hand. It is a place where we study God’s word, and put his teachings into action. It is also a community centre, hosting musical events, fitness classes, a tea business, self-help groups, and even a dog obedience school. Whether you are drawn to the Kirk because of its faithfulness, because of its heritage, because of its missions, or because of its use as a community meeting place, we hope that you will feel that it embraces you with love.
The Kirk is able to do all of these things – to be all of these things – because of the community that supports its mission and ministry. We invite you to support that work through your prayers, your presence, or your financial assistance.
If you would like to support the ministry of the Kirk there are several ways you are invited to give.
