Thank you! Because you responded to our “Helping Hampers” appeal to reach out and help our neighbours in need, St. James managed to raise the equivalent of 96 bags of food toward the Salvation Army’s Christmas Hamper Campaign! That’s equal to $3840! Well done Kirkers!
These are some pictures of the Campaign: (from top left to bottom right)
1. Some of the many bags that came in on “Giving Sunday” at the front of the Church.
2. Deanna Scott of the Salvation Army joyfully receiving our donation – in the picture with Deanna are Don Patton and David Harris (friends of Geoff’s who he roped in to help) and Simon Lloyd)
3. Rev. Geoff Ross and friend David Harris carting the third cart full of food into the Salvation Army.
4. Barb MacNevin sorting cans to pack into the hampers.
5. Rev. Geoff Ross stacking some of the 850 completed hampers for distribution.
6. Mary Bruce and Michelle Halliwell packing hampers.
7. Great Scott! 2 Ian Scotts! Ian Scott meets Ian Scott!
8. Some of the packers! Allan McLeod, Harrison Ross, Eric and Jean Riordon, Ian and Daphne Scott, and Chandos Ross sort and bag carrots for the hampers.

Once again, Thank you for a very successful campaign: there has already been a request that we do it again next year….. maybe we will!
